Theresa Marie Black

Theresa Marie Puder Black, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9th 2023, in her home while being surrounded by her loving family.

Theresa married her soulmate, Ricky Black, in April of 1982 and the two of them welcomed their only child, Amanda, into the world in February 1991. Theresa’s greatest joy in life was being a devoted mother to Amanda and she took great pride in becoming a mother-in-law to Amanda’s husband, Devin Ishak. Theresa was eagerly anticipating the birth of her first grandchild in December of 2023.

In addition to her daughter, Theresa leaves behind her sister, Julie Puder Harmon of Midway; brother, Bill Puder of Bloomingdale; and several loving nieces and nephews, and other extended family. Theresa was widely loved across the Savannah community and cherished her relationships with friends and neighbors.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish on Thursday October 12th, 2023 followed by a Mass at 11:00. Graveside burial will be at the Catholic Cemetery where Theresa will be put to rest with her late husband, Ricky Black.
